Our groups and workshops are taking a break over the holidays, please check back in early 2020 for the latest information
The Cancer Society run talks, courses and groups for anyone affected by cancer including family and whānau. Most sessions are free. Koha or donations are appreciated.

PALS – Prostate Cancer Support Group: 4th Tuesday of the month, 7pm–9pm
Relaxation and Massage: Within Office Hours on Tuesdays
Walking Group: Every Friday, meet at 10:15am at Newtown office
Women’s Gynaecological Cancer Group: 1st Thursday of the month, 1:30pm-3pm
Yoga and Relaxation: Tuesdays, 11:30am–12:30pm.
Mindfulness Course: Starts in September, call for more information
Kapiti Living Well With Cancer: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month 10:30am–12 noon. Kāpiti Health Centre, Warrimoo Street, Paraparaumu.
Waikanae Living Well With Cancer: 4th Friday of the month 10:30am–12:00 midday, Freemans House,16 Mahara Place, Mahara Village, Waikanae.

Gym Programme: 8 x 1:1 sessions with a qualified instructor focusing on rebuilding strength and fitness both during treatment and post treatment. Includes 8 week gym membership
Mindfulness: Tuesdays at 1pm at Fairfield House, $3 for people affected by or supporting someone with cancer
