Our rooms are now open to the public, please be aware that
under Level 1 there will be contact tracing and safety processes
in place at the door.
Through the generous support of the local community and the commitment of our volunteers and dedicated staff, we continue to extend and improve services for those affected by cancer.
The Wairarapa Centre focus is primarily on growing dedicated support systems; raising awareness in health promotion areas; seeking new initiatives; providing quality information; and networking to improve communication links with other related organisations in the health industry.
The Cancer Society, Wairarapa Centre has an open door policy from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm weekdays.
Patient consultation outside these hours can be arranged by appointment.
Volunteers are always welcomed and often called upon - anyone interested may apply at the Centre.

They did it!
Cheycoda Cocks, Joel Macklin, Andy Pottinger and Rob Blackett played 72 holes non-stop from dawn to dusk on Saturday to raise funds for the Cancer Society. They teed off at 5.30am Masterton Golf Club to escape some of the heat of the day and finished their endurance event 12 hours later, having played four rounds of golf. Their golf marathon has raised $5306 so far with all the money going to the Wairarapa Cancer Society. You can still contribute - www.longestday.org.nz/t/mastertongolfclub
